171. In Health and Business with Frenchie Ferenczi

You can create the type of business that honors your health and your priorities. It takes hard work, determination, and a whole lot of marketing, but with effort and defining your why, it is absolutely achievable. I’m joined by business strategist, Frenchie Ferenczi, to talk about her shift into flexible well-being and how she has created, and now helps others create, a business that serves their purpose.

Key Takeaways

Give yourself permission to be okay with your why. It will help grow a more authentic business. It will allow you to bring to life a more altruistic why, too.

About Frenchie Ferenczi

Frenchie Ferenczi is a business strategist and advisor for overwhelmed (but seriously ambitious) experts and creatives. She keeps small business owners stay close to the money and on the path to consistent revenue growth.

From having sold-out launches to spending more time with their kids, she empowers her clients to achieve their biggest business goals without falling victim to the business grind.

The Reality of Marketing

As a business strategist and advisor, Frenchie brings a wealth of information to share about how her life transformed when she started her own business. Perhaps one of the best changes for her is that she now has the flexibility to weave her well-being into her schedule easier than when she had to answer to someone else’s schedule. Frenchie understands the importance of prioritizing her health, especially as a business owner.

For so many of us, especially physicians turned business owners, it can feel like we’re drowning in marketing – and losing the heart of our business. But, as Frenchie says, marketing is one of the most important things you can do for your business growth, and, especially at the beginning, it needs to have a high priority.

Effort, Manifestation, and Perseverance

Our conversation shifted to the reality of effort and manifestation. Putting effort into something doesn’t mean working non-stop to achieve it. It’s about working hard when you do work.

Similarly, Frenchie has some feelings about manifestation and the reality around it. Manifesting isn’t as easy as wanting something and it will happen – there is hard work, determination, and perseverance that has to take place.

Finally, we talk about the power of defining your why. Whatever your reason is for wanting something, being truthful with yourself about that is important and powerful. Your mission, values, and why can transform your life.

How do you feel about manifestation? How are you living in alignment with your why? Let me know in the comments below!

Quotes

“Having that flexibility and knowing that I can weave my well-being into where it fits, rather than needing it to fit other people, is really lucky and has made a big difference.” [5:57]

“When you are used to being in a profession, like a physician, when you are actually doing and delivering all the time, and then you need to switch to marketing most of the time, it’s going to feel like you’re doing nothing. But it is often, and is most likely, the most important work that you can do.” [13:38]

“Effort doesn’t mean that you always need to be going non-stop. But when you are going, it’s hard work.” [21:37]

“One of the tenets of f*ck manifesting I always challenge people with is to get real about your why because that’s what keeps you motivated.” [24:20]

“The best next steps are hiding in plain sight. You just need to know what questions to ask.” [28:07]
